Meridian One Corporation is the leader in the association affinity program marketplace. A privately owned corporation founded in Alexandria, Virginia in 1986, Meridian One administers member benefit programs for over 500 professional and trade associations in the United States and Canada.
Meridian One creates value by securing long term agreements with well-known, respected corporations, such as UPS, OfficeMax, TSYS and InterCall, that supply savings on products and services to the small business community. Meridian One then partners with associations to endorse these products and services to their members.
Meridian One Marketing
Meridian One, in collaboration with both its association and program partners, develops and funds all marketing of its programs with the goal of generating awareness and member usage of the program. Our marketing team works to create collateral, including print ads, banner ads, direct mail pieces, HTML emails and e-newsletter content, and obtains approval from our program partners. All materials are co-branded with the association and corporate logos and stress the benefit of membership, particularly the exclusive savings offers that members can receive.
Each marketing manager works with his or her portfolio of associations to develop an annual marketing plan, customize the necessary pieces, and gain approval of all materials from the association. Reporting and royalty payments are provided monthly or quarterly.
Meridian One Sales Support
1-800-MEMBERS, Meridian One’s Sales Center, enrolls members in the program and maintains contact with each member after the sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction. Meridian One continues to grow and retain the customer/member through upsell and optimization campaigns via email, direct mail and outbound calls.
The Result
By matching supply and demand, Meridian One cost-effectively reaches the small business marketplace for large corporations, while creating a non-dues income stream for associations via an ongoing royalty based on member participation.
